Here's the mission...to design a cover for the Gilbert and Sullivan Very Light Opera Company's 2001 production of "H.M.S. Pinafore". Has to work with the set, a '70ish cruise ship. Has to be about the Titanic, and the title had to be seen from the back of the house. Luckily, I had just done a bookcover for my Adobe Photoshop class, so I knew the basics to start with. I found a few books, did some research and a few layouts, and this was the final product. Boy, could you see it from everywhere. I was working spots for the show, and I could see it clearly from the light booth!
