This is a design I came up with for a 17th Century Captain's flag. I drew out the eagle and raven, then took it into Adobe Illustrator to use as a template. The final result is this. I then took this blueprint, and used it to create the finished flag found here. The only difference is the lettering, and the final phrase-which is done in Latin.
